Hey,

I'm trying to get TF2 to work on wine but everytime I try and connect to a server it reaches the recieving/sending information and the game crashes. Also when I click on the options button it crashes. I'm using Jaunty (Ubuntu 9.04) and the same thing happens for all the source games.

I'm not really sure how to install the drivers for my video card, I'm using a Radeon X1600. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've had serious problems at best with ATI video cards. As a result I switched to Nvidia years ago and haven't gone back since.

On my Nvidia 9800GTX it runs great. I'm using WINE 1.0.1 for Ubuntu 8.04 and have had little problem with it. Occasionally I've noticed it lags a little but I think that might be my crappy on board network card. I'll have to look into that.
