Splash screen is small?

i recently upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04 beta and the new splash screen comes up in a smaller resolution on the screen, this may be a very simple fix, but how would i do it? Thanks for the help!

It's not a smaller resolution, it's a brand new usplash :)

It's actually a feature of Jaunty :S
