Running Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Haron Server. I have noticed that there is an upgrade to 8.04.1 and 8.04.2 on the Ubuntu website. Does this come down from online repositories, or do I need to burn CDs and install them from there?

Are these releases for non-Internet connected servers, just Intranet servers?

Otherwise should these updates be downloaded from online repositories?

Thanks,
Richie

Hi Richie, the .1, .2 etc are just snapshots of 8.04 at a particular date. As long as you regularly update your system, there is no need to re-install 8.04.2.

Thanks for the quick reply. That is what I was figuring, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any update/upgrades.
