I run a linux server (Ubuntu 6.06 LTS) for a small office, everyone has their own account & home folder which they access over samba for backup purposes, plus a single shared folder for sharing stuff. For security each account is set up with no password (so they can't get shell access), then just a password enabled through samba for network access. Some of them would like to access their share from off site. Webdav would seem the best way of doing this (although I'm open to other suggestions). Is this easily do-able? Anyone got any hints for how I enable the home folders to be accessed over both samba & webdav - for my own sanity I'd like the same password to be used for both (i.e. if a user needs their password changing I'd like to just change it once, and have it changed for both webdav & samba access).
