I just upgraded to Jaunty on my Thinkpad T60. I use Dual Monitor capability and they are not mirrored.

My 'Panel' has moved from my Monitor over to my laptop screen. Please help: I do know not how to move this Panel back to the Monitor, nor create new Panels over on the Monitor.

Ok, I am a nooob. Anyway, the Panel and new any new Panel's where checked as "Expand." Unchecking them allows me to move them anywhere I want.

This isn't normal behaviour... something changed in the panel options, and now they're no longer draggable. Weird.

Kareeser, It can be moved see my thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1120677 What I feared has become a reality. That is because of the changes upstream by Gnome. You need to basically now hit "Alt" while moving your panel or use Panel properties. That is Right click on your panel --> Properties --> Top, Bottom, Left, Right.

True. I found the solution not long after I posted that... I suppose it works out better, and is more in line with metacity's "alt-click" to move windows.

It's less intuitive, but I think it's going in the right direction.
