Hi everyone,
I am trying to get my hdtv tuner up and runnning again. I just upgraded from a 480i tv and I am having a hell of a time getting my myth box up and running. I have ssh running on my mythbox, it is headless other than the tv it usually runs on. Running dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg via ssh gives me a blank generic xorg template.
I am looking to run 1080i via component. Since I am new to HD, I am not sure what resolutions I can pump through. Can I have standard vga/hd over 1080i? (640/800/1024/1280). Thats' great if it works like that, because then I wont have to go through the godly project of custom resolutions in emulators again :rolleyes:
This is driving me nuts, i really need a sample config of someone running a similar setup! ](*,)
It also has a *looks liek a DVI port. From previous experience I noticed a lot of tv's create a black border (lcd) I would like to avoid this if its the case on these.
