Hi there

I have three questions and I would like to know where to post them:

1. My boot time is incredibly long (>3.5min!, according to bootchart). I think it's related to WiFi.
I already posted here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=7009241#post7009241
=> Where is the best place to get help?

2. Apart from that, Ubuntu started telling me that the battery of my Dell 1501 is very old. I did not write down the exact error message, yet. I assume that somehow Ubuntu can re-profile the capacity of my battery.
=> Where is the best place to get help?

3. Third, the BIOS (probably) of my Dell Inspiron 1501 tells me that it could not recognize the battery and that the battery is probably broken. I did not write down the exact error message, yet.
=> Where is the best place to get help?

Thanks a lot!
Andy

Edit: How can I correct typos in the tags?

Since you asked...this thread should be posted in the Forum Feedback & Help (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=48). It is were you ask questions related to forum usability. The General Help, where we are now, is for all your general support questions for Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Edubuntu and Xubuntu.

The post above is in the Community Cafe (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=11), which is a place for all sorts of non-tech-support discussions. It's not the place for support, nevertheless you might get some help eventually. You could post your message about boot time in the General Help (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=331) forum. There is also the Absolute Beginner Talk (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=326) forum, which is a good place to start if you are a new Ubuntu user.
