Hi all,

I installed "Monaco_Linux" font on my ubuntu804. And set the font(all with 12pt size) for Eclipse, Gvim, gnome terminal. However in the three appilcations above, the text looks different. I don't know where I did wrong. here comes the 3 screenshots.

It would be great if all text with this font look as the terminal shows.

Anybody can give some hint?

Thanks

Your problem should clear up if you change your font display settings.

1) Right click on the Desktop and select 'Change Desktop Background'
2) Select the 'Fonts' tab
3) Verify that the 'Subpixel Smoothing (LCDs)' radio button is checked under 'Rendering'
