If anyone has gotten the HVR-1250 to work please help

I am have tried both 9.04 Beta and 8.10...9.04 thinks the card is a Samsung...is there a Command Line way to force my system to recoginize this card as the Hauppage 1250..thanks any suggestions appreciated..

Myth recognizes and lists the Samsung tuner in setup under DVB cards this is normal. Start scanning your OTA channels. That is how it works. Mine works just fine like that for OTA. Although I need to setup a 2nd antenna to pick up some more channels. I have two towers near me and one is ofcourse directly north and the other Directly south.

I was thinking of placing something on the roof this year for better reception. If you are trying for analog, check out the v4l site and see if it is supported, I got mine for digital ota only, I have three pvr-150's for analog support.

How Do I scan for channels?
