1. the solved label is broken from what i read. But you can tag it as solved. at the bottom where the quick reply box is,above it will say no tags, to the right you can edit/add them.
2. bumping a thread you just need to reply to it to put it back on the first page. Some places it is not recommended to bump constantly. Try searching and if it was dicussed before, it will be there. Hope this helps

You can add a 'code' tag solved to the post. The original "thread solved" tool has been disabled for now. It used to be in the Thread Tools at the top right of the first post.
There are two other hacks. Hit Edit, then Edit again and you can change the title of the post. However, the new title won't be seen until the post is opened.
You could also edit the post and put "SOLVED" as the first word of the message. Again, it won't be obvious but if someone previews the post to read the first few lines they will see it.
"Bump" is just adding a new post so it gets moved to the top of the list. It's considered bad form to do this unless the post has gone unanswered for a considerable amount of time. My personal limit would be about a day at least. And then instead of "bump" I try to add some additional information which may further define the problem.

1. the feature was removed due to bugs. im not sure if you can merely edit your own thread title or not to achieve this now or if you have to rely on the mods
2. threads are ordered by which was last active. bumping is when you reply in a thread for the sole reason of making that thread go to the top of the list. its kinda frowned upon but it seems to be ok if no one is answering your problem and you dont over do it.

The "solved" button is "temporarily" disabled.
Using a "solved" tag is one of the new ways.
To "bump" a thread is, technically, to post an empty or useless post in order to "bump" the thread up.
Newer posts show higher in the pages...
Making them more likely to show on the first page..
Forum rules discourage bumping more often than every 24 hours.
Patience, as always, will pay off...
Everyone here is a volunteer. Give them a chance to read...

If you bump less than 24 hours after the last post, then you may get an infraction or warning.
