do we have a defrag tool in ubuntu?
actualy, I would like to do a defrag on my NAS RAID HDD (only single disk at this moment=$$), (http://mediasonicinc.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=153&osCsid=1d11bb5301323947a01752e6e8129f9a), the manufacturer claims running on some mini linux?!

I am sure the defrag is not posible from XP, would need to disconnect from network (Linksys WRT350)and connect with USB to one of my PC's. I did that once with my previouse HDD 2 months ago and scrap it, lost the file system and maybe 10 years pictures with it.
Wondering anything available in ubuntu with your help?

What filesystem is the NAS? NTFS or HFS?

http://www.linux-ntfs.org/doku.php?id=ntfsdefrag

No idea how well it works.

it's not funny, I can not dig out the file format (in XP),
the NAS driver utility was the SDisk.jar what format the HDD, could create partitions as well but I didn't split the volume. Remember I did it from XP, had a small graphycal interface; found some very modest manual, says FAT32.
I assume its FAT32, remember only that I was very suprised how could create FAT on larger than 32GB drives, in my case 500Gb.
