Hi

I'm having problems with the TV playback on my main front-end/back-end machine, there is no problems with the remote laptops dotted around the house.

I have 5 DVB-T and 1 DVB-S in the back-end, this front end problem is on all inputs and some DVD playback normally after a pause.

The problem is the video is jumpy, as if only part of the data is getting there at the right time, it can make you feel quite ill watching it.

The cure is to Menu/Video Scan and select ANY of the options even the one that is selected- Detect (I)
This instantly cures the symptom, until you change the channel or the input (BBC HD), when you have to repeat the cure.

This problem has been with this machine for over a year now, it appeared on my first unsuccessfully attempt to upgrade to 8.10, the 8.04 of old had a very slow Guide but no jumpy pictures. This 8.04 has the same jumpy picture but a new smooth Guide.

The video card is a Geoforce 7300 GS, using the Svideo out to the TV.

Thanks
