I have a problem with flash video in Firefox (Youtube, mainly). If I start Firefox, everything works fine, but after a few hours of constant web browsing, the sound in said videos begins to stutter very badly, like playing the same 1 second loop over and over again. Interestingly, this problem doesn't seem to be present in Opera. I had other problems with sound as well, which I solved by installing PulseAudio and tweaking it with the help of numerous guides. I'm running Intrepid Ibex x86 on an Acer Aspire 5315 notebook, in which I upgraded the CPU to a dualcore one. I update my system regularly too. Please help me fix this problem as it is the only thing that is keeping me from using Ubuntu without a hitch. Thanks!

Same problem here. After using firefox for a few hours the sound in flash videos starts looping until I restart the browser. Didn't try any other browsers so I don't know if it's a firefox or flash issue.

I have a similar problem. after a few hours of having firefox open sound in flash doesnt work, and flash videos halt after the first few seconds.

Other audio files like wave and mp3 work fine.

I have to kill firefox to 'fix' this.
