Hello All!
So I recently made some major upgrades to my home entertainment. I have a 720p native projector connected to my hp pavilion 6000 via a dvi output on my EVGA Geforce 7200 ($25 from newegg, not a bad deal at all) with a dvi to hdmi connector
Anyway, I recently connected a low end 12volt 7inch lcd in my kitchen it has a VGA input (640 by 480 optimal resolution!) When i first used the onboard vga on my geforce, only the vga would display the image, but not on the projector!
Next i connected the 7inch lcd vga to my onboard vga. Now the projector works, but the 7inch does not turn on.
Is it possible to have dual display? what can be done? Clone display or multiple montiors?
Thanks!
Update: Turns out that according to the asus specs on my mb, i can not use the onboard vga when using a pcie_x16 card. Now its time to go back and try dual display on the same card (dual ports)
