Why is jabber not an option?

I went to edit my profile to add that I have an account with jabber: jsmidt@jabber.org to find out there is no option to give a jabber account. Maybe I just didn't look in the right place. I found were you can enter an MSN or Yahoo account but why not jabber? They have you list one on launchpad.org. Just wondering. :smile:

The software that we use for this forum doesn't have a jabber option as of this version.

We've been trying to add that option for a while, but we haven't been able to as of yet.... hopefully soon.

I think vB version 3.5.2 has it, but you could add it as a custom profile field in the admincp.
