I have installed Eclipse Ganymede amanually and Python via Eclipse onto Intrepid.

Where is the directory for the python interpreter? Nothing is listed in Eclipse under

Windows Preferences Pydev Interpreter - Python

Hey there,

Open up a terminal window and type which python. That will give you the path to the interpreter.

Hey there,

Sorry that I am such a newb, but I have a similiar problem, where when i go to start a python project, eclipse says that I have to "Please configure a Python or Jython interpreter in Window -> Preferences -> PyDev
before creating a new Pydev project", But i have already downloaded python 2.5 and the Pydev plugin, so what am i doing wrong. I cant find this interpreter when i go to preferences.

Please help, thank you.
