Is anyone else losing the cursor and the program not updating/refreshing?
If I open two Tex docs and flip from one to the other, the cursor disappears, and I seemingly lose the ability to type anything.
Is this a Qt problem?

This is happening to me after I compile my .tex file. If I try to edit, my cursor is gone, and I can't type anything.
Are you using Jaunty? I just installed it yesterday, and I've had this problem since.
Edit: I just reinstalled the package and it stopped acting funky.
Edit 2: Never mind, still acting funky.

This, too, is happening to me. The text input box of TexMaker seems to lose focus and cannot get it back. I have found that if I click on a toolbar button, say normalsize, then the text input box regains focus and I can type.
On another note, my QT apps (using jaunty btw) don't look so hot. I would love to try to synchronize their look with gnome. the only QT apps I am using at the moment are Mathematica and TexMaker
Edit: I found this (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/texmaker/+bug/348028) thread that more completely documents the issue along with providing a patch if you are interested. I haven't applied the patch, but it is my hope that it will be included soon.
