Q: Is it possible to change the thread title after you have made a thread? For example to add [SOLVED] to the front?
A: No.

Q: When people say "...mark your topic as solved..." do they simply mean add [SOLVED] to the title; or is there a setting somewhere?
A: There is no longer a setting.

Q: Is it possible to change a thread's tags?
A: "Edit tags is at the bottom of thread just above the Quick Reply message box, on the right and below the Bookmarks line."

Not sure if you can edit the topic, but you can mark the thread as solved by clicking on the "Solved" link within your post.

Where is the solved link? I don't see it...

Sorry just noticed a sticky:

In a post earlier this month I mentioned the "Thank you" feature and the ability to mark your posts "Solved" have been removed. We hope to add them back or find an alternative method that is less intense on our database.

We apologize and hope to have a resolution for you soon as we understand these features were popular.

I had read that but it doesn't say anything about changing the title? And I don't see an edit tags section when editing my threads.

Edit tags is at the bottom of thread just above the Quick Reply message box, on the right and below the Bookmarks line.

On your first post - middle click the Edit button - it will open in New Tab in Advanced mode - you can then change the title - it will not however affect how the thread appears on the forum.

You cannot change the main thread title, only the first post title. The solved plugin was doing just that (change main title by a user), but corrupted the database..
Staff can change a thread main title, but using tags is far more efficient: you can do it on the spot, no need to report a thread and wait for a Staff member to do it. Even better: anyone can add a tag, not only the OP :)
