It seems that the [uhelp] code is not working because there is a missing directory in the resulting string.
Is it possible to implement buttons in the post editor to wrap [uhelp] and [uwiki] around the selected text?

Are you talking about /community? These do need to be added manually because https://help.ubuntu.com/ (without /community) holds official system docs, while https://help.ubuntu.com/community holds the Community Docs.

Yes. Thanks.

I don't think this is going to be changed for [uhelp] since users can link to either official or community docs. We do advocate linking to system and community docs whenever possible, and to the wiki.ubuntu.com which primarily holds information about teams and guides for contributing to Ubuntu development.
As for adding icons to the post editor, this has been discussed in the past, but nothing has come of it. I would support adding the icons, including [lpbug].
