Sometimes, when I install stuff through synaptic, I get 'NOT AUTHENTICATED' , on the package confirmation dialog. At least one of these packages has since been discovered to be broken, and the maintainers are listed as debian guys. I have spoken to the MOTU (Masters Of The Universe) team about it, and they confirmed the pckage was indeed broken. I also found a 6 month old thread on another forum saying how there had been problems with ubuntu -devel repackaging stuff, and not changing the contact info. Is this STILL going on? I take it the packages I got were from backports (wmaker, fsviewer(broken, bug logged), gnustep environment). So what is the story with this?
