Version: 2.24.1 (From 'gnome-about' on my Intrepid)
To see it, type Alt + F2, and type gnome-about/

Weird... The matrix at Distro Watch does not include Gnome versions???

Thanks. When I run gnome-about/ I get "Error stating file /home/user/gnome-about; No such file or directory.

This should be easy info to find I would think.

No problem. I shoulda figured that out myself.

Version 2.24.1
Build date: 10/24/2008

Noticed that Gnome released v2.26:

http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/2.26/

What's involved upgrading to 2.26?

Will Ubuntu 9.04 come with Gnome 2.26?

Where might I find this info?

Thank-you kind sir from Argentina.

Update: Gnome 2.26 .. found that myself, here:

Don't mention it :)
Tested Jaunty Alpha on a very crappy Compaq Presario 1200 laptop, it seems really good, and the EXT4 feels rather fast.
As soon as it official, I'll give a shot on my main laptop.
