Hi People,

I am using MythTV with the Ubuntu beta of 9.04.

My issue is that if I do a warm reboot, my Nova-T 500 card dies after awhile with the dreaded errors:

Mar 28 14:06:02 media kernel: [ 2691.491945] mt2060 I2C write failed

All capture fails after this happens, and I get loads of missing recordings. A cold reboot will fix this but I forget to always do a cold reboot after updates.

Can anyone shed light on this issue?

Cheers
Sygin

Well if it is any comfort I have the exact same problem with 8.10 and a current build of the v4l drivers.

I did make a post to the linux media mailing list about this but didn't get a response. As you say a cold boot always works so at least things could be worse! I expect it will be fixed at some point.
