I found a trick to get more fps for dota and maybe all other wine games

For you gamers this is the trick,
when login.. choose session : Failsafe Terminal Only
then run your game from console:
# wine w3l.exe -opengl
( i use w3l loader for warcraft 3 )
viola... warcraft run full screen and more fps gained.. :)

for ubuntu developers, maybe this will inspired you something for faster gaming experience

I don't see what your low framerate in a Windows based game through WINE has to do with the Ubuntu dev team.

There used to be a howto involving running games in seperate X sessions to accomplish this.
However with the majority of users having decent hardware these days this is no longer such and issue.

Still the Ubuntu devs won't be changing anything for the minority of users who's hardware can't keep up I'm sorry to say.

And remember, that with some video cards, you may not be able to figure out wine 3d acceleration decently, such as Intel.
