Question about versioning.

I have a question about how Mythbuntu is handling versioning. I apologize if it has been asked before.

If I set up a server with the 8.04 LTS and then bring up a front end with 9.04 (or 8.10), will both versions be able to communicate?

It all depends on the version of mythtv they are running.

If both are fully up to date IE running the exact same build of mythtv then you should be fine.
