How do i record (capture) the sound from the soundcards output?

Do you mean the physical output? Or do you want to record the stream internally?

Case 1: Physical output

Connect the sound card output connectors to your recording device and hit the record button

Case 2: Stream

The source (perhaps a CD, or some internet radio source) must be played back, and all you need to do is turn on any recording software you may have (Ardour,Audacity,Muse etc). Be sure to select the correct input in the options of your software. This would depend on the Audio Card you are using,

I have tried use Audacity. So how do find to capture the output from another sourse?
