I need to use Truecrypt with our Ubuntu 8.10 server.
The truecrypt_6.1a-0_i386.deb package from truecrypt site seems to need a whole bunch of other packages, probably required for the GUI.
I would rather install truecrypt as command line only, I want to keep the packages installed to the server at minimum.
To do this I think I need to compile truecrypt from source.
I've found a couple of related tutorials, but all of them leave me stuck at some point.
Has anyone managed to compile the TC6.1a CLI only for the Ubuntu 8.10 server?
