Hi,
I am trying to network two computers using Samba;
Computer 1 (main pc 1); dual boot Ubuntu and Windows
Computer 2 (other pc 2); dual boot Ubuntu and Windows
From computer 1 I am asked for username and password and then I can access folders and files on on comp2.
From computer 2 I am asked for username and password and then cannot access folders and files on comp1.
Each time I enter my username and password and hit enter the window reappears asking for username and password.
I know my user and password....unchanged for years.
There must be I guess an issue in computer 1
I do however have the same username and password on both computer, could this be an issue, I tend to think not an I would think the problem would work both ways...though I am new to networking..
any suggestions?
