If you just want a torrent client, then I would recommend Deluge. It is in the repos, so all you need is to look for it in the Add/Remove manager.

Or you can install by command:


sudo apt-get install deluge-torrent

I don't recommend any Gnutella application, because I believe they are less secure than torrent clients and full of junk.

Deluge is a great torrent client. Easy to configure, has a nice interface and everything you need for torrenting.
