hi,
Blender 2.48, seems to have powerful Video editing. So I gave it a try in my Virtual linux box. and it worked great.
However, after installing it on my production machine (hardy 8.04) , it seems to keep the hard drive working 100% for hours when adding a small video clip.
Has anybody ever seen this? I'm at the end of my knowledge here.
When I tried to re-install the older version 2.45 (default in ubuntu 8.04), it won't even start. So I'm back to the 2.48 version. But with described issue.
