View Full Version : Clickable/usable Notifications?

It's all well and good being notified of a new event, but unless you can interact with the new notifications, they're a bit useless.
Is it possible for the developers to add some way to actually use them? Perhaps by holding CTRL and clicking to follow a notification through?

What, if someone is talking to you on Pidgin/Empathy/w.e, and it pops up, and you click it, it doesn't open a window? (Sorry, don't have Jaunty installed.)

Why? It's like natural (imo), if you have a chat notification come up.

Good luck...they are willing to break update notification since notifications are not clickable. I wouldn't count on this being implatemented anytime soon.

Well,
"the obvious solution, that is, put a button into the popup notification,
would not work well."
The new notifications are designed to be non-clickable. Again, design
decision. When you hover your mouse over them, they dissapear / fade out to
reveal the content below and clicks go through.
