(Dolphin) file copy dialog disappears too quickly

Kubuntu 8.10, with KDE 4.2:

When copying files, particularly onto another volume, the progress dialog disappears before the operation is completed.

Also: if there's an error during the copy (for example, copying a file with a very long filename to a FAT32 filesystem), Dolphin crashes completely.

Is that a bug? Seems like that oughtta work fine, so I'm wondering if it's something with my system ...

On the lower right bottom (next to the clock,) there is an Icon (a blue circle with a 'i' on Mandriva 2009.1 RC1), if you click it the Progress bar expands back to normal.

Id love to see how to make it stay longer in the first place though.
