Hello.
Can a static IP address be used with specific networks in gtk-wifi?
Where is/are the config file/files kept?
Thanks

Ok, as I only have one wireless machine on my network, I restricted my router to one DHCP address and assigned my PC a static IP.

I'm really interested in this thread. I have been pretty dissapointed with the Profile storage/features in the GUI Networking tool. I am very grateful for the creation of the tool and know that it will be immensly helpful in bringing people to Linux but I've had problems.
What I want to do is find the configuration file(s) where this profile information is stored. I want to find this location so I can help in debugging the application as well as possibly find some way of copying this file to other machines that require the same network settings.
Where should I start looking? You can't google for this info because (surprisingly) every article in the world matches "+ubuntu +network +config" :)
