I just installed Ubuntu in VirtualBox on MacBook Pro. I tried using alt-F2 to launch Gnome (consistent with Windows) and it did not work. The command deferred to OSX Leopard. How do I launch Gnome in VirtualBox? Thanks!

What do you mean by "launch gnome"? If you see the desktop, gnome is running... What are you trying to do exactly?
