hey everyone,
for months now I've been dreaming up ways to install a carputer in my jeep keeping one clear overall goal in mind: I want to make it opensource, no windows no windows frontends under wine I want to make it authenticly linux based.
the main chanenge was a screen that would look decent in my dash and I found this on a carputer forum about the same model jeep I have.

Now that I have a list of parts form his build, I can sub in my own.
My question before I start compileing pieces is does anyone know how well touchscreen drivers are supported under linux?
I mean the whole project sort of hinges on that.
