Hello,
I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 64 bit on a Intel Core 2 Quad 2.8Ghz (Q9550) with 8 GB DDR2.
When running several (2/3+) virtual machines (windows XP 32 Bit) as guests, they become very slow, even their system clock starts to tick about 3-4 times slower than the Host clock. I've tried both VirtualBox and VMWare(both latest versions) and I get the same results. Up until today I had a E9400 (Core 2 Duo 3.0) and I thought it was a matter of to few cores for so many machines, so i upgraded to a quad, but same result.
When running the same amount of guest system under Vista 32, I have no problems at all, they all run flawless.
Any ideas?
