I often use Hiphop Ejay5 in my Windows. This software very easy to create hiphop beatstep by drag and drop loop sample beat (bass, drum, keyboard, guitar). Any software in Linux can do that ? please help

i think lmms is the best software to do this, definitely the easiest production program to pick up.

you do have to make sure you get the latest 0.4.3 version though

http://lmms.sourceforge.net/home.php

also you can come join us on freenode in ##lmms

I don't think there's any software packages for Linux that allow creating songs by dragging&dropping ready-made sound loops.

LMMS is a easy-to-use software studio, but doesn't give you ready-made loops you can just arrange the way you like, instead you'll have to write your own beats and melodies.

If you prefer using ready-made loops Jokosher could be useful, but you'll still have to find the loop samples separately as it's main purpose is multi-track audio editing and recording so it doesn't come with any sounds.

OK ! thanks to everybody, I wanna do this long time ago, but still don't know how to ask it, 'cause I'm Vietnamese and I don't know what exactly technical word descript category of this software.

Yes, I wanna find the software have "ready-made loops" beat.

Thanks, I will try Jokosher. The LMMS ... to professional for me, I'm still noob, not expert. And it have not "ready-made loops" beat.

Thanks all, nowhere to be found that have great community support like Ubuntu Forums, I like Ubuntu forum.

if you go into the samples you will find loops that you can use aswell as individual drums/samples etc... and these can be dragged and dropped onto the sequencer
