Decided to install jaunty 64 bit this afternoon. On all the other versions of ubuntu i used gconf-editor in a terminal to disable show desktop under nautlis-preferences. When i do this in jaunty i get a file manager starting and never stopping until it locks my computer up.It took me an hour to figure out that by deselecting show desktop was causing the problem.I basically had about 45 seconds from the login screen to run gconf-editor and put the check mark back into show desktop before the computer would lock up. The file manager would peg both cores of my cpu. Has anyone else seen this??

This has already been noted in this forum - do a search. I think there's a launchpad bug about it too.
