I'm installing winxp on my dell mini 9 and I got to a blue screen with 5 steps on the side. It's on the 4th step, "Installing Windows," and then a window called files needed pops up and says, "The file 'asms' on Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 CD is needed." The CD is in, I press okay and nothing happens. What should I do?

I'd sugeest asking for help on a dell mini site, or at least a Windows site. This is an active site: http://mydellmini.com/
The number of people who have installed XP on their Mini here at ubuntuforums is probably small.

I think you should throw the disk in the trash, and stick with Ubuntu ;-)
