Hi,
on my Ubuntu 8.10 I've installed VirtualBox 2.1.4 (non-opensource) which has USB support. I added a proper filter via Options (using "existing device"). When I'm connecting my E61 via USB cable, it appears in VirtualBox usb devices menu as unavailable (gray item). On the status bar of VirtualBox, when I mouseover the USB icon it says that there are no USB devices connected. However in fact it keeps detecting whenever I connect/disconnect the phone, the corresponding menu item in "Devices" appears or disappears ...
how can I solve the problem?
I really need to make a backup of all my phone data
Thanks in advance
