i just updated and restarted my computer, and certain text are bigger than they should be, but most of them or same as always.(see the pics.)

im seeing the same things in Gnome.

Doesn't appear to be present using KDE

Try going to system-->preferences-->appearance-->fonts. Change all the fonts there to 10 and it should correct your problem (hopefully :))

my font settings are fine, its only certain fields that are messed up.

indeed, some where set to "13,333" what a beautifull number :-)

Got hit with the same bug, but surprsingly I actually like the larger size. I toned it down to 11 but definitely less strain on the eyes!

can You remember what font was at that time. now the font changed and that is the only thing I did not remember or write down ... :)

I know size. font changed, but, it seems, not the font name but the font look... I checked on another machine that was not updated. now the font in FF is like in Windows ... :) I have ttf-mscorefonts but Sans is not among them. never mind, I can live with that ...
