View Full Version : [ubuntu] Adobe Flash Player will not install

Hi Everyone,
Im trying to get Flash to work in Firefox and every time i download and try to install the "install_flash_player_10_linux.deb" from the Flash website it just tells me "Error: Wrong architecture 'i386'"

Any Ideas? i need flash

Are you running 64 bit architecture by any chance? Why not just install flash via synaptic --> flashplugin-nonfree

Try getting gstreamer from Add/Remove that should fix it!

there is no flash for PowerPC...

Okay so the packages didn't work i tested it on youtube and there is no more text telling me to download Flash Player. But it will not load the video it's just white

I too have a problem installing adobe flash player 10.
it shows "Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libpango1.0-0"
plz help.

There is no Adobe Flash Player for the PowerPC Architecture.... You can try Gnash, some people say it works with youtube.....

I had the same problem. I ended up solving it by downloading flash player 9 instead and then it worked fine
