Pptp vpn

I have a couple of Windows Server 2003 systems that I manage. I use the PPTP in the connection manager to access the network. I was able to get it to connect properly. I cannot access the PC's using the computer name. I can use the IP Address to connect. I even tried their DNS name from the domain. I cannot get any lookups to happen. Is there anything I am missing?

Computer names are way easier for me to use for management purposes.
