Ok guys i have a dilemma.. I've knocked down all my problems with ubuntu. However i can't fully switch to Ubuntu until I figure out a way to run shockwave or IE for some specific sites and some things for my wife's school that requires it..
What would be the best way to do this? is there a simple answer i don't know about..... or Do i have to use this virtual box thing with XP ?

Btw this is on a laptop...... This is my only problem i can't seem to get around.

If u have a 100% answer to this please PM me to make sure i get this.

Seems that some people have had success with the windows version of firefox under wine. A second way seems to be using realplayer for linux.

Ive not tried either method myself.

Have a look here http://www.ubuntux.org/shockwave-player-ubuntu-linux
