Okay, so for those of you who know me i have been having problems with 7.10 so i deleted that and installed 8.04

Now it's pretty much solid but the Visual Effects will not change. If click on "Extra" the window kinda flashes white then it gives me a message saying "Desktop Effects Could not be enabled" same thing happens when i click "Normal"

Anybody Else have this issue?

Or know how to fix this

it's kind of a big deal because the Jelly windows is one of the best parts of Linux LOl

this is on a PowerBook G5 15' 512 RAM and 80GB HD
