recordmydesktop delayed image

Hi, I have a problem .. when I record with gtk-recordmydesktop, the sound is not in line with the image, the image usually gets delayed .. What can I do?

If you play it back in vlc you can use the j and k keys to compensate for a synchronisation error between the audio and video. To fix it is somewhat more involved, e.g. split the audio and video with mplayer, adjust the audio in audacity then multiplex back together.
