Firefox / Yahoo

The default browser on my Dell Mini running Ubuntu is an "unbranded" version of Firefox. That's OK except that it opens with Yahoo as the homepage. I want to open with something else but there is no Preferences dropdown. How do I remove Yahoo?

On mine it's at EDIT/PREFERENCES/MAIN

In Synaptic package manager, search for yahoo

It is something like yahoo-toolbar - just uninstall it.

You can change your homepage and default search engine from Firefox preferences.
