OK. Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this sort of question but please excuse my curiosity.
I just noticed this on the home page:
Most users ever online was 35,611, 1 Week Ago at 12:01 AM.
Thats quite a lot of users to say the least. Assuming that only 10% of them hit the database at once, that's still 3561 concurrent users.
Now my question, and excuse my curiosity, what sort of set up is Ubunutforums running to maintain such high volumes? Like how many web servers, load balancers, database servers etc. and maybe someone could explain a bit about the architecture etc.
