I just tried Moblin on my Dell Mini 9. I am very impressed with the startup time and speed compared to Ubuntu. However, big problem... no wireless!
Does anyone know how to get the wireless working?

No wireless? Moblin = Mobile Linux. Without wireless it is pretty deprecated to start with. Considering it is linux, what about using a linux resource? Linux drivers?
Just curious but what does the interface look like. There are no screenshots of a Moblin desktop.

It is supposed to have wireless--it works fine on my eee 900ha--but for some reason can't find the Mini 9's broadcom card (even though the moblin site says it works on the Mini 9). Can you steer me towards any of the "linux resources" of which you speak?
As far as what the interface looks like, it is a fairly generic Xfce desktop with a few basic effects like transparancy, nothing fancy. It would be quite familiar to a Xubuntu user for example. Here's a screenshot I found: http://mytechnews.info/b/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/moblin-alpha-screen-shot.jpg

I did more research about the moblin project. Basically it is in really early alpha, and they are designing it specifically for the Atom processor, which is why it's so fast. At this point it is basically a platform to build a distro upon, lacking a lot of end-user applications. So for example Dell could hypothetically use it as the foundation for a Dell mini specific distro. I think a lot of the technology could end up incorporated into future versions of distros like Ubuntu.
I found an explanation of why the Broadcom wireless card in the Mini 9 isn't supported, and some hints how to fix it: https://bugzilla.moblin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=906
