View Full Version : [ubuntu] I overclocked my CPU but ubuntu still says its at stock speed

Well I overclocked my CPU from 200MHz to 250Mhz and ubuntu frequency scaling runs it at 1800Mhz instead of 2250Mhz that its supposed to! It doesn't give me an option higher than 1.8Ghz, What can I do?

is f**ing me

according to my mobo i have overclocked my CPU by 45%

1.8 @stock AND 2.71@OC

and my sys temp hasnt risen by more than 6*C

also my system does perform better in bench mark
