Missing Network Manager

I installed ubuntu studio from a DVD I burned after downloading the code. Everything appears to be working except for my network. I could not configure DHCP during the install, and now Network Manager is missing from my Administration tools. How can I find this and get my network configured?

It seems that they have some problems with this new release. I'm not sure if you actually have a working network manager in this release..
